'SALEM'S LOT
Dust jacket design
Redesign of a hardcover book dust jacket for Stephen King's second novel, 'Salem's Lot (which happens to be one of my favorite books of all time). The house and town silhouettes were created in Photoshop, then brought into InDesign to finish the layout. I wanted to capture the feeling of brooding menace that permeates the novel, and chose the stark black and white contrast to help with that -- with just a bit of red, like a drop of spilled blood.
